Ziggy Xolane Ndhlovu is the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of UMEH Group. He directs UMEH’s business, investment strategy and decisions, company governance, and investor relations. UMEH Group currently manages equity capital commitments of around R460 million and oversees a portfolio of over 16+ companies that employs over 200 people.
Ndhlovu is also the founder and the President of South African Entrepreneurship Centre For Ex- Offenders (SAECEO) which offer variety of entrepreneurship skill program to ex-offenders.
Born to a Nigerian father and a South African mother in the dusty streets of Burgersfort, a town in Mpumalanga province of South Africa. Better known as Master Ziggy a former radio/club Disk Jockey. Xolane hold diploma in media management, BCom Economics and Masters in Business adminstration.
The alchemy success story of Ndhlovu is quite an inspirational one, having reformed from a background riddled with crime into building a multi-million rand empire being currently chaired by him.
Ndhlovu made his first million dollars in prison investing in startup tech companies. He’s determination to become one of the publicly quoted entrepreneurs can be attributed to his billionaire role model Richard Branson’s auto biography “Losing My Virginity ” which he read while in prison.
Inspired by Richard Branson’s Virgin Group he founded UMEH Group with interests in media, publishing, blockchain, consulting, investment, and broadcasting. He is also non executive chairman of several companies under UMEH umbrella such as UMEH Capital Limited with a hundred million rand in equity management, WIF Global Limited, UMEH Logistics, Affluent Properties, and UMEH Media.

UMEH Capital with interest in blockchain invested heavily in startup blockchain companies like the world largest crypto exchange Binance, Tron Foundation, NPXS, and Holochain which was aruged by analysts that with the portfolio’s current robust growth would in the next five years make the ex prisoner his first billion rand should the current performance pace remains sustainable.
